Benefit Fund of McKenzie Health to Host Grand Opening of Courtyard, Greenhouse, and Chapel at Good Shepherd Home and Horizon Assisted Living

Watford City, North Dakota-The Benefit Fund of McKenzie Health invites the public to celebrate the grand opening of its new Courtyard, Greenhouse, and Chapel at the Good Shepherd Home and Horizon Assisted Living on Thursday, July 31, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The open house event will begin welcoming guests at 11:00 a.m. and include a short program beginning at 12:00 p.m., featuring remarks and reflections from community leaders and project champions:

• Welcome
• Prayer
• Donor Thank You
• The Spark for this Expansion
• Expanded Space for Residents to Enjoy
• Tour the Space & Refreshments

Following the program, guests are invited to tour the new amenities, enjoy lunch & dessert, and receive special commemorative items. These new spaces were made possible through the generous support of donors and are designed to enrich the lives of residents by offering more opportunities for connection, reflection, and wellness.

“This event is both a celebration and a heartfelt thank you to the individuals and families who helped make this vision a reality,” said Lynn Welker-Fevold, Benefit Fund President.

The grand opening is free and open to the public, and McKenzie Health encourages all community members to attend, honor the donors, and experience the new spaces designed to enhance quality of life for residents at Good Shepherd Home and Horizon Assisted Living.
