A Year in Review for Horizon Assisted Living

The Horizon Residents rang in the New Year in January by stepping into Time Square for a New Year’s Eve party and they never missed a beat all of 2022!

February the Horizon residents decorated Valentine’s Cookies

March brought us St. Patrick’s Day with traditional Irish stew, soda bread, shamrock shakes and of course everyone received their very own Leprechaun name.

April came along with even more fun; with tied dyed t-shirts, Long X Arts Foundations concerts, visits from the Easter bunny, egg dying and of course record snow storms. The Horizon residents showed everyone that you are never too old to play in the snow.

May – Syttende Mai Celebration at the Pioneer Museum. The Horizon resident’s celebrated Norwegian heritage ate delicious food and listened to the beautiful music.

June – It was time to visit the Long X Liquor Store & Pioneer Museum once again for “Dogs on the Deck” Live music, great food and ice cream. The Horizon residents always enjoy a beautiful evening out.

July – Wow! What a busy month for the Horizon residents, it started off with a wonderful 4 th of July BBQ, beautiful drive to Skunk Bay, a trek across state lines to the Powder Keg to get a piece of well-known pizza and ended out the month with a trip to the Gospel Brunch in Medora.

August – The Twist 2.0 brought back many memories for the Horizon residents as they enjoyed reminiscing during our August afternoon visit. August also took us to 4 Bears Casino for a fun filled afternoon.

September – Took our group to another fabulous Long X Arts Foundation Concert, the Watford Market
and to Minot to the popular Norsk Hostfest.
