David Geier, MD
Family Practice
Dr. David Geier is a physician who truly understands the spirit of the communities he serves. Dr. Geier was born and raised in Central North Dakota and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of North Dakota before earning his medical degree from Loma Linda University. He further specialized in rural medicine through the University of Nebraska’s rural training track residency, preparing him for the unique healthcare needs of our region.
At McKenzie Health, Dr. Geier provides comprehensive family medicine with a focus on community safety and education. His commitment to emergency care is reflected in his roles as the Medical Director for the Stephen Ambulance and an ACLS instructor through FM Ambulance.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Geier is an avid horseman. As the owner of Dead Horse Draw Quarter Horses, he competes in the fast-paced sport of cowboy mounted shooting. He is also a fan of basketball, a lover of music and cooking, and can often be found on the open road with his motorcycle—specifically riding with Fire and Iron Station 216 out of Devils Lake.
