Dr. James S. Wagner is a highly skilled and multiple-award-winning surgeon dedicated to providing expert and compassionate care to the Watford City community. With extensive experience in a wide range of procedures, including minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery, digestive system abnormalities, and the surgical management of both benign and malignant tumors, Dr. Wagner is committed to delivering the highest standards of medical excellence.
Dr. Wagner and his wife, Sally, reside in Fargo, ND, and have a family of eight adult children, two of whom are physicians, and many grandchildren. Outside of medicine, he is an avid adventurer who enjoys traveling, hiking, and mountain climbing. He has successfully summited four of the Seven Summits, including Aconcagua in Argentina and Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.
Passionate about improving patient outcomes, Dr. Wagner takes pride in utilizing advanced surgical techniques and looks forward to making a positive difference in the lives of his patients in Western North Dakota!
