Urgent Care to Move to Main Campus of McKenzie Health
Watford City—On Tuesday, October 3, 2023, Urgent Care will move to the main campus of McKenzie Health. It will become a Walk-In Clinic at the same location as the Rural Health Clinic. Through October and November, hours will remain the same, where the Walk-In Clinic will be open from 8 AM – 6 PM. One advantage to this transition is that McKenzie Health will be able to staff it allowing better service to this population. Expect to see the same caring and helpful team members as you have in the past. Having patients on campus will help streamline additional needs they may have, like obtaining labs or imaging services.
McKenzie Health’s overall strategy is to create efficiencies where applicable by streamlining and consolidating where it makes sense. The move of Urgent Care to the main campus as a Walk-In Clinic fits nicely into this puzzle as Urgent Care, now Walk-In Clinic, will be integrated into a clinic that’s already operational allowing for better customer service and room for expansion. Pete Edis, CEO of McKenzie Health, said, “We are restructuring in a way that we can remain nimble and able to respond to the community’s needs as the community experiences growth and change.”
As of Tuesday, October 3, please seek Urgent Care at the Rural Health Clinic – 709 4th Ave NE, Watford City. For questions, please call 701-842-3771.
