McKenzie Health Proudly Introduces Dr. Jenna Sloan, OBGYN, as its Newest Member of its Obstetrics & Women’s Health Team
Watford City, ND—McKenzie Health is excited to officially introduce Dr. Jenna Sloan, OBGYN, to the community. Dr. Sloan is the newest member of the obstetrics and women’s health team and brings with her a deep commitment to advancing women’s healthcare in rural communities.
Dr. Sloan joins McKenzie Health from Hays Medical Center in Kansas, where she was part of a team that performed between 600 and 700 deliveries annually.

Dr. Sloan provides comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology services, including well-woman care such as Pap smears and preventive health screenings, as well as routine and high-risk prenatal and postpartum care. She offers a range of contraceptive options, including IUDs, and specializes in routine and advanced procedures such as colposcopy, LEEP, and performs gynecological surgeries, such as ovarian cyst removal, hysterectomy, and myomectomy using minimally invasive techniques.
Her areas of focus include managing heavy menstrual bleeding, endometriosis, pelvic pain, perimenopause and menopause symptoms, painful intercourse, vulvar conditions, pelvic organ prolapse, and weight management. Dr. Sloan is also deeply committed to maternal mental health and improving access to mental health services for mothers and expectant mothers.
Dr. Sloan holds a bachelor’s degree in microbiology with a secondary major in natural resources and environmental science from Kansas State University (2008). She earned her medical degree from The University of Kansas School of Medicine in 2013 and completed her residency at Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas.
Originally from Hays, Kansas, Dr. Sloan is a proud mother to three children, ages 9, 7, and 4. Her husband, a civil engineer, and their family enjoy life on their farm, where Dr. Sloan loves biking, reading, and spending time outdoors with her family.
