AgCountry Farm Credit Services Awards the Benefit Fund of McKenzie Health $15,000

Watford City, North Dakota

March 10, 2025 – AgCountry Farm Credit Services is proud to announce that it has awarded the Benefit Fund of McKenzie Health $15,000 as a recipient of the Rural Community Grant Fund (RCGF). The grant funds will be placed toward purchasing a medication delivery system.

Lynn Welker-Fevold, President of the Benefit Fund of McKenzie Health, is pleased to accept the check and utilize the grant funds toward the purchase.

“AgCountry Farm Credit Services is proud to present grant funds that will go toward purchasing additional consoles for managing chemotherapy drugs through the Omnicell Medication Delivery System,” says David Hokanson, Financial Officer with AgCountry Farm Credit Services.

The Omnicell is a machine housed in the pharmacy which dispenses drugs for the pharmacist to provide in physician prescribed dosages for patients.

“The Omnicell reduces error, improves patient safety, and provides an efficient system for essential medical care closer to home,” Hokanson adds. AgCountry Farm Credit Services believes it’s important to give back to the community.

AgCountry Farm Credit Services, Farm Credit Services of Mandan, and AgriBank, established the Rural Community Grant Fund to assist in the implementation and development of projects and programs in communities and rural areas in western North Dakota which have been impacted by mineral exploration.

The Benefit Fund of McKenzie Health is extremely thankful for this donation and the opportunity to enhance equipment for patients.
