Upgraded x-ray equipment is needed because new software is not compatible with what we have as it is outdated. When the new hospital was built no one was able to anticipate that we would be performing the amazing number of surgeries we are now.
Dr. Ravindra Joshi, our orthopedic surgeon, needs upgraded equipment in order to evaluate trauma patients who come through our doors with broken bones, etc; pediatric scoliosis cases; and total joint replacement cases (knees, hips, shoulders) requiring great precision.
Upgraded x-ray equipment will allow for versatility to address a number of scenarios, to include utilization in the operating room as an added benefit.
