Katie Kovar is a great person to have on your team of health providers.  With more than 3 decades of experience in large and small hospitals, Katie cares for her patients like they are her own family.

Katie grew up 40 miles west of Watford City on a cattle ranch near Sather’s Dam and graduated from Sidney High School. She pursued her nursing degree at Dickinson State University and continued on to hear her Masters in Anesthesia at UND. Katie returned to Western North Dakota and joined the team at McKenzie Health in 2021.

Katie and her husband, Tracy, have 3 grown children who promoted her to her favorite title yet, “Grandma”. She enjoys spending time with her granddaughters when she’s not caring for patients.
