Katie Campaneria, MS, ATC, CES, CEAS
Sports Medicine
Katie Campaneria grew up in the snowy parts of Ohio/Pennsylvania and is happy to call ND a slightly colder version of home. A Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) of 16 years, she graduated from Slippery Rock University in 2008 with my BS in Athletic Training/Rehabilitative Sciences and continued on to earn a Master of Science in Exercise Science/Corrective Exercise. Before moving to Western North Dakota, Katie taught courses on first responder medicine, CPR, medical terminology, and sports medicine, then ventured into ergonomics at a major production plant in El Paso, Texas.
Katie is best known for her work with athletes at all levels, on and off the field or court. She aims to excel at what it means to be an athletic trainer with a focus on preventing and detecting injuries, providing acute and chronic injury care, encouraging good overall athlete health, and helping get athletes safely back in the game.
Katie’s family moved to Watford City in 2022, and quickly appreciated Watford City’s community values. She looks forward to having a part in McKenzie Health Sports Medicine’s mission to provide excellent medical care to all of our amazing young athletes!
