Anesthesiologist

Dr. Craig Smith is a graduate of the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and got his start in medical practice when he served in the U.S. Army with assignments both domestically and abroad. His many U.S. Army accomplishments include four Army Commendation Medals, three Meritorious Service Medals, and was promoted to Clinic Commander and Flight Surgeon. After a career of practicing general medicine and family practice while enlisted, Dr. Smith returned to training for Anesthesiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
In 2007, Dr. Smith returned to his roots in North Dakota and brought decades of medical experience to the team at McKenzie Health. He holds many specialized certifications and maintains his medical license in multiple states. As a leader in the workplace and the community, Dr. Smith is an asset to the McKenzie County region.
